The Ridiculous Ramblings of Kiki

58 days until #wedding2012! I ordered my cake today and started my 1 month till to do list! Meeting with the photographer next Saturday, and finishing some crafts on Sunday. Obtaining marriage license in 2 weeks! And only 23 people have RSVP’d the nerve of some folks!

The sun is shining, the days are getting longer and warmer, May is getting far too close! The breakdowns are getting more severe, the stress is worsening. I am looking Forward to my honeymoon more than my wedding! I am trying to be patient while I wait for the response card to come in the mail, one down twenty-eight more to go…

I long have aspired to be an actress; I have gotten good feedback from my high school acting class and teacher. Reason for not pursuing: I have no self confidence and a $1500 mortgage payment. I then wanted to be a singer and tour the world dining my Top 40 hits; reason for not pursuing: I can not sing. And I get reminded of such every time I sing way too loud in the shower. I wanted to model but I stopped growing at 11 years old to a short height of 5’3” and that is in no way tall enough to walk the runways in Milan or Paris. I have since moved on (since about 11 or so) to writing, but after receiving poor and just mean criticism I have shut the world out from my writing aside from my incessant proof reading… Which brings me to my most recent aspiration; blogging… I think I could be really good at it, I just have to get over my self and find a niche and that is impossible because I love everything and am fascinated by even more. I can’t concentrate long enough to focus all of my time to a fluid no nonsense awesome blog. But I have tried; I just need an outlet that I can have all my ridiculous thoughts run rapid!

She’s a lady and lady’s shouldn’t be messed with… My valentines was spent arguing and watching my Fiancée play video games! Just like any other break down(night) so FUCK valentines day. I couldn’t even get a strawberry covered in chocolate…

I have been stressing hardcore! About this wedding! I was helping a creepy guy at my job today who asked me if my wedding was still on! No super CREEP I canceled it just for you!
It’s getting real now, I have to pay people, I gave to mail my invites, we met with the judge! Let’s just hope it goes smoothly!

After spending all afternoon working on my wedding playlist I am exhausted, my dear FI is watching Lethal Weapon and telling me that he is going to delete songs that he doesn’t like! As if I didn’t spend my whole afternoon trying to please everyone! I may slap him if he comes near my laptop… In the mean time since I am now finished with my playlist I can move on to the more important things like making a template for our wedding programs!

So after my first wedding gown fitting Saturday my BFF and MOH coming from NJ, I feel a bit better about this wedding stuff, future MIL has a dress and my little sister and BM finally ordered a dress after demotion was threatened! I have a good start on my wedding playlist, yes I need more than 81 songs, but we are getting there! Now if I could only find a starving college grad who majored in photography so I don’t have to sell off my first born child… I told my work friend today it will be the perfect opportunity to learn how to use her dad’s SLR so I have *some* nice photos. We will see… I may not have any hair left. #wedding2012

I have two more days of work until the weekend, as many do. But this weekend is special! Not only is everyone and my Mother coming to my very first dress fitting, but my best friend- Maid of Honor- most awesome person in the world is coming to visit, and even though it is a short visit I couldn’t be more excited! I was trying to think of fun things to do while she is here and I can’t because I live in a boring place with nothing but bars and welfare recipients… But I am sure we will have a great time, because whither we are sitting in my dining room annihilating a bottle of wine or sitting in traffic at 13 getting the worst sunburn of our lives we always make it fun. And even though I will be exhausted from my busy weekend it will be well worth it.

I have already fallen off the wagon. One of my goals for this year was stick to an exercise routine and I haven’t even tried to lift a weight or do a crunch or a yoga pose, so much for that! And I have eleven days until my first dress fitting, and lunch for today: a frozen gluten free dinner and two left over gluten free sugar cookies. Two thumbs way up Kiki you are doing great!
